Wind power start-up shifts staffing
A local entrepreneur still is developing a new wind turbine in hopes of encouraging the use of renewable energy. But she’s no longer working with the same partner.
Mary Geddry, owner of Rogue River Winds, had an agreement with Ric Morrisonn of Coos Bay to manufacture a prototype of the novel turbine.
That agreement has been terminated, she said Tuesday. Work on the prototype has shifted from a building on Front Street in Coos Bay to the Business Center in North Bend.
Morrisonn declined to comment about the parting of ways.
